decorating for Christmas

Put up "some" of the decorations in the house today. Found two strings of lights not working so I couldn't decorate the tree. I have three trees - three different sizes I line up in a row. I have a new Fireplace mantle so I decorated that up and with the lights I like it alot. I put white lights and deep purple lights on top of bows. Very festive. I will take pictures but the house is in a real mess right now.....more later

Finished another Quilt

I will take some pictures of it before it disappears. I love the blue tones. Its a super easy quick quilt. On You tube watch the 1600 Quilt that is able to make it supposed to be done in 35 minutes. Ouch. I tried but I wasn't that quick


I need to Xmas decorate this weekend, but will try to post a picture or two....

Seattle Tacome Quilt Show

Aren't these amazing quilts? They are like precious art work in a gallery. I could not stop wondering who the person is behind this art work. Just totally amazing!

Cold day.

Very coolish, damp day today. We are definitely in winter season. I am taking a quilt to get sandwiched and long armed this afternoon to my fave gal that does it for me.

This is a Queen sized quilt that is almost done.

I am now working -almost finished a plaid quilt. Its a large lap size, and the plaids are sample fabrics that I picked up last year in a pound sale. I put black borders on it in flannel and the backing will be black flannel too. Very warm.

I have a few kits I want to get rid of. I need to clean out my top shelf of my racking in my sewing room of stuff partly started and such. Working slowly at it, and get them done and out the door. I have one started for my recreation property and will try to finish that up too. More later.....
