Seattle Tacome Quilt Show

Aren't these amazing quilts? They are like precious art work in a gallery. I could not stop wondering who the person is behind this art work. Just totally amazing!

Cold day.

Very coolish, damp day today. We are definitely in winter season. I am taking a quilt to get sandwiched and long armed this afternoon to my fave gal that does it for me.

This is a Queen sized quilt that is almost done.

I am now working -almost finished a plaid quilt. Its a large lap size, and the plaids are sample fabrics that I picked up last year in a pound sale. I put black borders on it in flannel and the backing will be black flannel too. Very warm.

I have a few kits I want to get rid of. I need to clean out my top shelf of my racking in my sewing room of stuff partly started and such. Working slowly at it, and get them done and out the door. I have one started for my recreation property and will try to finish that up too. More later.....

One of the many white birds in Maui. They were fun to watch. Now isn't this a cute licence plate?
This was a quilt I made for my sis a couple years back.....oh I was just learning to quilt in those days!

One of the colourful quilts recently completed. Its a lap size and you had to make it row by row.....there wasn't any quick short cuts...ugh!

This is one of my rarest lillies this summer. Very odd colouring and markings but petite and pretty in its own way.

Well here I am again

Not exactly sure why I quit blogging but I always enjoy writting. I am quite the quilter now and something I do almost daily. I will start posting some of my quilts, and whatever I am making.....more to come - promise!!
